Nail your first 90 days (and beyond)

Product Marketing roles vary widely. Job descriptions often blur lines with content, growth, or brand and expectations shift dramatically from one company to the next. A coach with broad PMM leadership experience helps you navigate new terrain, craft or refine your 30-60-90, and make an impact fast.

With support you’ll:

  • Learn what best-in-class PMM looks like

  • Translate theory from courses and certifications into practice

  • Understand executive leadership team expectations

  • Map a long-term career path towards your north star

Coaching gives you the space to focus on your growth, not just the company demands. Trellis is your confidential ally - helping you gain perspective, clarity, and strategies to move your career forward..

Support for the leaders who support everyone else

Landing a leadership role is exciting - but it comes with new challenges. Many PMM leaders report to executives who have little understanding of product marketing, leaving you without a true thought partner. Coaching provides the sounding board you need as you delegate, manage up, and handle tough situations such as an underperforming team member, unclear strategy from leadership, or limited resources

Leadership coaching helps you:

  • Proactively navigated challenges

  • Grow visibility and influence across the org

  • Pressure-test strategies with a seasoned thought partner

  • Stay sharp on emerging tools and trends

FAQs

  • Coaching for product marketers is a tailored, one-on-one process that helps you bridge the gap between what you know and how to apply it. Unlike courses or certifications which offer foundational but generic information, coaching focuses on real-world challenges - launching products, navigating internal dynamics, building influence, or accelerating into leadership - and factors in your unique strengths. Think of it like trellis - the support is there to help you grow stronger, in the direction you choose.

  • A professional coach is someone trained and certified in evidence based methodologies that support growth, clarity and performance. It’s not the same as mentorship or consulting - coaching is focused on helping you develop your own solutions, confidence, and leadership style. As an ICF certified coach, I’m committed to ethical standards, confidentiality, and proven practices that keep the focus on your agenda, not mine.

  • The International Coaching Federation (ICF) is the leading global organization setting the standards for professional coaching. Certification with ICF means a coach has undergone rigorous training, demonstrated coaching skills, and adheres to a strict code of ethics. Choosing an ICF-certified coach gives you assurance that you’re working with someone who’s been trained to a recognized global standard.

  • It’s not that one is better than the other, they serve different purposes. Certification is excellent for learning product marketing frameworks for building your professional credibility on paper. Coaching is about applying that knowledge in the messy real-world situations of your career - navigating stakeholders, leading launches, managing competing priorities, and developing your leadership style. Many people find certification plus coaching is the most powerful combination.

  • I named my company Trellis because it reflects how I see coaching. Just like a trellis supports a plant's natural ability to grow upwards, coaching provides the structure, support and guidance for your career and leadership growth. The real strength and growth come from within you - I’m just here to help guide you in the right direction.

  • Coaching packages start $2,999 for three months. This includes bi-weekly individual coaching sessions, support between sessions, and resources tailored to your career goals (frameworks, best practices etc.)

  • No. I offer flexible payment plans so you can spread the investment across the term of your coaching package.

  • Many companies offer professional development stipends or L&D budgets that can be applied toward coaching. I can provide an invoice and outline of services to make the approval process easier. If you’re not sure what your company offers, I can help you prepare a business case for your manager or people operations team.

  • Coaching is about guiding you to your own solutions, not telling you what to do. Mentors share their experience, and consultants solve problems for you - coaches empower you to solve them. I may switch between coach and mentor, given the topic and situation we’re exploring.

  • Sessions last 50 minutes. I like to start our sessions with a few moments to reset and come into the space. Then we’ll focus on the challenges or goals most relevant to you in that moment and point in our coaching journey. We’ll explore perspective and options, and define next steps. You’ll always leave with clarity and action items you can apply.

  • I work with product marketers across different levels - from junior PMMs finding their footing to senior directors and VPs.

  • As with anything, what you get out of our coaching is directly related to what you put into it. Effective coaching requires commitment - I’m here to help create the environment where that growth is possible. Outcomes include increased confidence, clarity on career direction, faster promotion readiness, and improved stakeholder management.

  • I offer a free discovery call so you can get a better feeling for my style and if coaching feels right for you before committing.

  • No. My coaching approach applies to anyone navigating growth, change, or career transitions. I also work with entrepreneurs in need of some accountability while launching their business, professionals pivoting into a new field, and leaders looking to design a more fulfilling career path. The coaching methodologies I apply are universal - the focus is always on your goals, your growth, and your charting your next chapter.
